Returns and refunds

Our goods come with guarantees that can’t be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. This page explains how we handle returns with those rights in mind.

Your consumer guarantees

Under the Australian Consumer Law, goods must be of acceptable quality, match their description, and be fit for the purpose they were sold for. These guarantees apply whether or not a product has a manufacturer’s warranty.

Major problems

If a product has a major problem, you can choose a refund or a replacement. A problem is major if, for example, a reasonable person wouldn’t have bought the product had they known about it, or the product is unsafe or can’t be fixed within a reasonable time.

Minor problems

If the problem is minor, we may choose to repair the product, replace it or refund you, within a reasonable time. If it isn’t fixed in a reasonable time, you can choose a refund or a replacement.

Damaged in transit, or the wrong item

If your order arrives damaged, or you receive the wrong item, get in touch. We’ll replace it or refund you, including the cost of return postage.

Change of mind

The Australian Consumer Law doesn’t require a refund if you simply change your mind. We may still accept the return of unopened, unused items in original condition within a reasonable period, at our discretion. Please contact us first. In that case you may need to pay return postage.

How to make a return

  1. Send a message through the contact form with your order number and a description of the problem. Photos help.
  2. We’ll reply with the next steps and return instructions.
  3. Once a return is approved, refunds go back to your original payment method.

Please keep your proof of purchase. Nothing on this page limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
