Hi, I’m Finley. Bowerbird Games is my passion project: a board game shop run by someone who loves games, though I’m not a good player. I started it to make some really cool games easy to get hold of in Australia.
Why Bowerbird?
Bowerbirds are a beautiful bit of Australiana, and some of the best collectors around. The males build a little display called a bower and fill it with treasures, and the satin bowerbird has a particular weakness for anything blue. I won’t limit myself to blue, but a bird that gathers up the things it loves and shows them off felt like the right namesake for a games shop.
What’s planned
A small range of board and card games from around the world, shipped around Australia from Sydney. Family games, party games and a few heavier strategy games.
The range is still coming together, so there’s nothing to buy yet. I’ll list games as I get them in. If there’s one you think I should stock, let me know.
